The 3rd MobiliseYourCity Africa Mobility Conference will be the first MobiliseYourCity conference to offer two streams of sessions. The technical sessions will enable experienced mobility practitioners to deepen their knowledge on digital technologies, greening urban freight, transport financing and effective participatory approaches, while representatives of cities will be able to attend sessions focusing on the principles and practices of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs), to give them the necessary resources to begin their SUMP journey. This 3-days event will also be the occasion to celebrate the official presentation of the Douala and Yaoundé SUMPs.

The conference will focus on four main objectives:

  • Enrich the MobiliseYourCity methodological framework based on experience gained by the practitioners
  • Initiate MobiliseYourCity’s contribution to the Africa-France Summit 2020
