ITDP's paper on battery-electric buses explores the rapidly-growing technology

The title of ITDP'S publication on e-buses, "From Santiago to Shenzhen", already indicates the widespread technoglogy of battery-electric buses (BEBs). Still, there is too little known about bus electrification, given that relatively few buses have gone through a full life cycle, and new best practices are constantly emerging.

BEBS have been rapidly adopted and now dominate the electric bus market. Hence, ITDP's report focuses exclusively on the battery-electric technogology, covering the state of the art of the current BEB technology, as well as best practices from four continents that shall serve as guidance to cities who are thinking about the transition to BEB technology.
