Reviewing transport transformation from an SDG perspective with SLOCAT

The "SLOCAT Wheel on Transport and the SDGs" visualizes the positive interactions between sustainable transport and the 2030 Agenda

Although sustainable transport is not represented by a standalone Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) in the 2030 Agenda, it is mainstreamed in a direct or indirect manner into many of the proposed SDGs. To achieve the SDGs, transport services and infrastructure are essential. The "SLOCAT Wheel on Transport and the SDGs" shows the positive interactions between sustainable, low carbon transport and mobility and the 2030 Agenda.

SLOCAT visualizes these interactions by presenting four cross-cutting themes: Equitable, Healthy, Green and Resilient. Each theme highlights fundamental notions related to socio-economic and environmental systems on which sustainable, low carbon transport can affect positive change.
